Aqua Natural - AquaEarth
AquaEarth is a fertile aquasoil designed to support strong aquatic plant growth. Its specialised blend of Japanese volcanic ash, clays and minerals also provides biological filtration and helps create favourable freshwater conditions.
- Supports healthy aquatic plant growth
- Rich in minerals
- Provides biological filtration
- Freshwater safe
- Suitable for shrimp aquariums
- Helps lower general hardness
- Suitable for planted aquariums, paludariums, tropical terrariums and miniature gardens
How to Use
- Add any chosen fertilisers or additives to the empty aquarium. For additional vitality, AquaEarth can be used with AquaLat.
- Spread the unwashed AquaEarth evenly over the aquarium base.
- Level the surface or create hills and valleys as desired.
- Slowly add water until it reaches approximately 3-4cm above the AquaEarth to make planting easier.
- Plant the aquarium, regularly misting the plants to prevent them from drying out.
- Once planting is complete, slowly fill the aquarium. Use a plate or your hand to diffuse the water flow and avoid disturbing the AquaEarth.
- Start the filtration system and allow the water to clear over the following hours.
Care and Attention
AquaEarth’s water-conditioning properties will naturally decrease over time. As it is made from natural inorganic materials, small amounts of foreign matter may occasionally be present.
Not suitable for strong burrowing fish or use with aquarium gravel siphon cleaners.
