Pisces FM200 Ceramic Rings provide a highly porous surface where beneficial bacteria can colonise, helping establish and maintain effective biological filtration in the aquarium.
These bacteria support the nitrogen cycle by converting toxic ammonia into nitrite and then converting nitrite into relatively harmless nitrate.
